The 17th of Tammuz the 16th of July & Prophetic Insight

A fast day commemorating the fall of Jerusalem in foreign hands.

Marks the beginning of a period known as 3 weeks.

An intense period of mourning culminates on the 31st of Tammuz Tisha B’Av, which is August 7th  known as the 9th of Av 2022.

On Tisha B’Av, Jews around the world mourn the destruction of both Temples in Jerusalem and the pain and suffering that the Jewish people have experienced for generations.
First, we will deal with the 17th of Tammuz.

4 calamities took place on the 17th of Tammuz.
  1.  Mt Sinai--Mosha, Moses, shattered the ten commandment tablets the lord had given him after coming down the mountain and discovering the people had made an image of a golden calf and were worshipping it.
  2.  Babylonian siege, they ran out of sacrifices to offer at the temple.
  3.  A roman general named Apostamos publicly burned a Torah scroll.
  4.  Same general places an idol in the most sacred room of the temple.

July 15, 2022, the day before the 17th of Tammuz:
Biden greets MBS, and we once again obsess about a fist bump
The president’s gesture with the Saudi crown prince was ripe for interpretation.
The fist-bump is not rare in West Africa, nor is it a strictly Muslim practice; in Ghana, there was a lot of fist-bumping, but it seemed on a more casual basis than a handshake. And that is how I coded it, a less-formal, “hip” gesture of friendship/encouragement. Since the famously infamous Obama “terrorist fist jab,” a few popular accounts traced the fist-bump to sports and it has been endorsed by doctors as being more hygienic. The fist bump is also briefly cited as an example of “emergent culture” by Martin Ortlieb.
In Senegal, under a bright, yellowy sun and next to a whitewashed & peeling mosque, I found a slightly different version of the fist bump. Emergent or no, individual quirk or no, I loved to see it incorporated into a system of beliefs that dictate how and when it is apFlags had been hung, the green and white of Saudi Arabia set against the USA's stars and stripes. They lined the main route from the airport to the royal palace, flanking roads that had been closed and cleared. Police vehicles, their lights flashing in the sun, were poised every few yards to maintain the tightest of security. Appropriate to touch someone. (American airlines dream, green missile…)

A common theme that runs throughout the 4 events discussed with the 17th of Tammuz:
In one way or another, most of these events led up to the temple's destruction. The breaking of the tablets is the event of the 4 that has nothing to do with the others. It did not take place in the land of Israel and happened hundreds of years before the temple was built. This happened in the desert on Mt. Sinai. Something that ties all of these events together.

The tablets were the law; Moses broke the tablets, therefore, breaking the law, which was a physical act to demonstrate what the Jews had indeed done in erecting this golden calf and worshipping it, they broke the law.

Upon waiting for Moses to return, something begins to stir in the camp because to them, Moses is taking too long to return.

They gather around Aaron and pressure him, as the priest, to now make them this image. Aaron succumbs to the pressure and makes the golden calf along with the people, and they hail this calf as the god who brought them out of Egypt.

Now, why did the Jews of all animals choose a calf?

Why did the Israelites choose a calf? One could point to the gods of other nations for some possible inspiration for this.
  • The Egyptian god, Hathor, a bull goddess of joy, celebration, and love, could’ve had some sway over the shape this idol took.
  • Another Egyptian deity, Apis (a calf), could’ve served as an inspiration.
  • One could also point to Canaanite literature’s El (a bull), the chief god, or Baal, an ox

Figurines of bulls and calves have been found at several Canaanite sites.
In other words, they did not intend the calf to depict YHVH but to function as the conduit of His presence among them, as Moses had functioned previously. Many scholars believe that the calf did so by serving as the pedestal or mount on which YHVH was invisibly present, as did the cherubs in the Holy of Holies. This conception of the calf is illustrated by ancient images of a god standing on the back of a bull or another animal.

When they don’t know what happened to Moses, they “need a god to walk before us.”
If it's Moses who is missing, why do they want a god? Why not turn to Aaron or Miriam for leadership?
They say “the man Mosha who took us out of Egypt” NOT God delivering them but now saying it was a man, therefore transferring the deliverance that God gave onto a man and now idolizing and worshipping the man, and this is what opened the door for the golden calf. America needs to learn a lesson from this.

July 15, 2022, on the heels of the 17th of Tammuz.
Biden backs a two-state solution along 1967 lines to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
There are exactly 666 days from the signing of the Abraham Accords to the arrival of Joe Biden in Israel to sign the ‘Jerusalem Declaration’ paving the way for the Two State Solution, so get ready to fly!

The signing of the Abraham Accords on the South Lawn of the White House. On October 23, 2020, Israel and Sudan agreed to normalize ties, making Sudan the third Arab country to set aside hostilities in two months.

This is the spirit of Lawlessness and antichrist at work in this region.
Remember the dream the Lord gave me where I saw the gate opened and that huge dark army and that spirit of antichrist charging toward certain nations? Well, we already now see such at work.
The three weeks is an annual mourning period that falls out in the summer. This is when we mourn the destruction of the Holy Temple and our launch into a still-ongoing exile.

The period begins on the 17th of the Hebrew month of Tammuz, a fast day that marks the day when the walls of Jerusalem were breached by the Romans in 69 CE.

It reaches its climax and concludes with the fast of the 9th of Av, the date when both Holy Temples were set aflame. This is the saddest day of the Jewish calendar, and it is also the date that many other tragedies befell our people.

The 9th of av this year, 2022, is August 6th at sundown, concluding on August 7th
WATCH THIS DATE AND THIS PERIOD LEADING UP TO IT, KNOWN AS 3 WEEKS.
17 Tammuz is a fast day on which we refrain from eating and drinking from dawn to nightfall. The fast commemorates five tragic events that occurred on this date, including Moses breaking the Tablets and breaching of the walls of Jerusalem.

Biden not only does this on Shabbat, Friday, he also did this 2 days before the 17th of Tammuz and the period beginning known as 3 weeks.

17th of the Hebrew month of Tammuz, a fast day that marks the day when the walls of Jerusalem were breached by the Romans in 69 CE.

The Second Temple was destroyed by the Romans under Titus, who burned it down in 70 AD.
For Jews, the ninth day of the month of Av also commemorates multiple tragedies in Jewish history, ranging from God decreeing that the Israelites would wander in the desert for 40 years to Jews being expelled by decree from England in 1290 and from Spain in 1492.

The Orthodox Jewish organization Chabad ranks Tisha B’Av as “the saddest day on the Jewish calendar,” even more somber than Yom Kippur.

The destruction of the temple and this period, Biden proceeds with this on the heels of this period, this is no accident….

I also believe this is the act that has brought his cup of iniquity to full, and now it must be poured out.
Biden arrived in Bethlehem after a short visit to the Augusta Victoria hospital in East Jerusalem, where he announced $100 million in U.S. assistance to six Palestinian hospitals in the area.
Biden told Abbas that the U.S. position is that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, but stressed that it continues to be the policy of the U.S. that the specific boundaries of sovereignty in Jerusalem must be resolved through final status negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians, the White House said.
  • Abbas told Biden at the press conference that the time has come to end the Israeli occupation. "The key for peace in the region is recognition of a Palestinian state and giving the Palestinian people its rights," Abbas said.
  • End Israeli occupation?! So what Abbas is really stating is it's time to end the biblical boundaries the Lord himself laid out for Israel, breach the covenant God made with Israel, and carve out a chunk for themselves.
This meeting and these statements will turn into humiliation for both Biden and Abbas in the coming months; just watch.
Other events that occurred during the 17th of Tammuz which precedes the period known as 3 weeks.
    1. The Spies Returned With a Bad Report
The spies return on the eighth day of Av and report that the land is unconquerable. That night, the 9th of Av, the people cry. They insist that they'd rather go back to Egypt than be slaughtered by the Canaanites. God is highly displeased by this public demonstration of distrust in His power, and consequently, that generation of Israelites never enters the Holy Land. Only their children have that privilege after wandering in the desert for another 38 years.
    2. Both Holy Temples Were Destroyed
The First Temple was also destroyed on the 9th of Av (423 BCE). Five centuries later (in 69 CE), as the Romans drew closer to the Second Temple, ready to torch it, the Jews were shocked to realize that their Second Temple was destroyed the same day as the first.
    3. The Battle at Betar Was Lost
When the Jews rebelled against Roman rule, they believed that their leader, Simon bar Kochba, would fulfill their messianic longings. But their hopes were cruelly dashed in 133 CE as the Jewish rebels were brutally butchered in the final battle at Betar. The date of the massacre? Of course—the 9th of Av!
    4. The Romans Plowed the Beit Hamikdash
One year after their conquest of Betar, the Romans plowed over the Temple Mount, our nation's holiest site.
    5. The Jews Were Expelled From England
The Jews were expelled from England in 1290 CE on, you guessed it, Tisha b'Av.
    6. The Jews Were Banished From Spain
In 1492, the Golden Age of Spain came to a close when Queen Isabella and her husband Ferdinand ordered that the Jews be banished from the land. The edict of expulsion was signed on March 31, 1492, and the Jews were given exactly four months to put their affairs in order and leave the country.
    7. Both World Wars Began
Ready for just one more? World War II and the Holocaust, historians conclude, were actually the long, drawn-out conclusion of World War I that began in 1914. And yes, amazingly enough, Germany declared war on Russia, effectively catapulting the First World War into motion on the 9th of Av, Tisha b'Av.

July 21, 2022, the 22 of Tammuz, 5 days after the 17th of Tammuz, it is announced Biden tested positive for covid not coincidentally following his trip to Israel and what he said there, his trip to the Saudis and what was said. This as well happened within the period known as 3 weeks, of mourning, on the Jewish calendar.
The January 6th hearings are also happening during this period; this is no accident!
The 9th of Av is the date to watch for now, and a potential crescendo and a crash here around that date. We must watch both Israel and the United States as things are going in tandem on these dates.
